Lower Sixth 4 - 1 Upper Sixth
The 13th of March saw a select lower sixth team playing a select team of upper sixth and international study center students. The lower sixth would emerge victorious by a score of 4-1 at full time.
Both teams in the first half played with determination and skill as the worked towards victory. The lower sixth would score in the first half after a play of good passing. However the upper sixth and ISC players would be quick to try and claim their own as they worked tirelessly to try and get an all-important goal before half time. At half time though the score would be 1-0 in favour of the lower sixth.
Quickly after the restart of the game for the second half the upper sixth and ISC team would score to level the game at 1-1 and deal a blow to the morale of the lower sixth team. As the match progressed deeper into the second half the lower sixth pressed their opposition higher up the field and after some well-timed runs and pinpoint passing the final score would end up 4-1 in favor of the lower sixth.
Both teams played well, were dedicated for the entirety of the game and as such should be congratulated. Well done.
